Since the yacht “America” made history racing around the Isle of Wight in 1851 countless sailors have followed. This 60NM route requires some planning to fit the tides but is well worth the effort, the aim will be to keep the average speed high whilst taking in all the famous landmarks. In the 2022 Round the Island Race we recorded an elapsed time of 4h58mins. Join us as we try to better that.
